Lombard Garden Club celebrates 100 years as grand marshal of Lilac Parade

Members of the Lombard Garden Club continued to celebrate their centennial year with participation in the annual Lilac Parade on Sunday, May 17.

In addition, the club was selected as grand marshal in recognition of their many years of learning, sharing knowledge and beautifying the community.

The club, founded on May 28, 1926, is known for its annual Lilac Sale and programs on a variety of horticultural and conservation topics.

The club welcomes fellow gardeners who enjoy learning opportunities and the company of others.
