District 128 seeks applicants for school board vacancy

Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128 is accepting applications to fill a spot on the school board recently left open by the retirement of long-serving member Jim Batson.

Interested candidates must complete and submit an application by 4 p.m. June 2. Applications will be reviewed by board members in a closed session June 15.

Prospective candidates may be invited for in-person interviews also to be held in closed session June 22, with the appointment expected at the school board meeting later that evening.
