Highway crackdowns

I commend Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart for his crackdown on the “dangerous morons” who use the shoulder as their own personal lane on the highway.

I would like to see similar action taken statewide against the people who speed through construction zones and cut others off at the last second when the lanes merge. We also can help each other by having slower drivers stay out of the left lane on and off the highways. It seems much safer for one slower driver to move over than to have multiple vehicles changing lanes.
