Police issue traffic advisory for Bartlett Memorial Day Walk & Remembrance

Bartlett’s Memorial Day Walk & Remembrance will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, May 25 at Bartlett Park with an American Legion flag retirement ceremony.

The Bartlett Police Department will provide traffic control assistance along North Avenue between North Eastern Avenue and Oliver Street for the Memorial Day Walk. Motorists in this area may encounter minor traffic delays.

At 11 a.m., veterans, scouts, civic groups, bagpipers and other participants will begin walking from North Eastern Avenue and North Avenue to Bartlett Cemetery.

At about 11:30 a.m., the Memorial Day Remembrance will commence at the Bartlett Cemetery with the posting of the colors and an invocation.
