New judge appointed in Kane County

The 16th Judicial Circuit of Kane County has announced that appointment of Vincent Michael Coyle as its newest associate judge.

Coyle, whose tenure begins June 1, is a 2010 graduate of John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He currently serves as an assistant state’s attorney in the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office’s Civil Division. Prior to that, he worked in the office’s criminal division.

He replaces Judge Julia Yetter as an associate judge. She was appointed to serve as a full circuit judge in February by the Illinois Supreme Court.
