Paddleboat season launches in downtown Naperville
Along the Naperville Riverwalk, as familiar as the covered bridges and lighting shaped like a shepherd’s crook, paddleboats will kick into high gear again this Saturday.
The Paddleboat Quarry will be open weekends only from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Memorial Day. Then, the quarry will start offering daily hours.
The Naperville Park District’s historic Centennial Beach also opens for the season on Saturday, May 23, of Memorial Day weekend.
Paddleboats can accommodate up to four people. Next to Rotary Hill, the quarry will also have paddleboard and kayak rentals later this season. Only paddleboats will be available opening Mother’s Day weekend.
Rental fees and waivers can be found at napervilleparks.org/paddleboatquarry.
