Hoffman Estates police hosting open house May 7

The Hoffman Estates Police Department will hold an open house from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at the police station, 411 W. Higgins Road.

The free event will give residents a behind-the-scenes look at the department and its operations.

It will include opportunities to meet with officers, tour the station, see live demonstrations and safety presentations, check out police gear and equipment, and get a free child ID kit.
