Annual golf outing to benefit Arlington Heights-based FamilyForward

Arlington Heights based nonprofit FamilyForward will host its annual FamilyFOREward Golf Outing on Thursday, May 28. This event will once again be held at Chevy Chase Country Club, 1000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling.

Golfers of all skill levels are invited to gather a foursome and register for this fun event. Individual golfers are welcome, too, and will be placed in a foursome. Proceeds from the event will help low-income, working families in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. Registration closes May 20.

The schedule for May 28 includes check-in at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy 18 holes of golf (scramble format), a hot dog lunch, and a concluding program at 5:30 p.m. featuring prizes and a buffet dinner.

“The FamilyFOREward Golf Outing is a fun time with friends on a high-quality golf course, and a wonderful opportunity to help local families and create a stronger community in the process,” said Tim Wayman, FamilyForward board chair, in a news release.

The registration fee is $700 for a foursome or $185 for a single golfer with early bird registration by May 1. After that, prices increase by $50 for foursomes and $15 for individuals until registration ends on May 20.

To register, visit family-forward.org/golf-outing. Contact Beverly Worthington, executive director, with questions or to sponsor this event, at beverly.worthington@family-forward.org or (847) 342-0846. May 8 is the sponsor deadline.
