Kane County blood drive relocating to Geneva’s Sunset Community Center May 5
The Kane County Government community blood drive for the American Red Cross has been relocated for Tuesday, May 5.
The blood drive will now take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sunset Community Center, 710 Western Ave. in Geneva, operated by the Geneva Park District.
Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visiting RedCrossBlood.org.
All donors should bring a photo ID, a blood donor card, or two other forms of identification.
To save time, participants can complete a pre-donation health questionnaire using RapidPass. Visit RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to learn more and complete the process before arriving.
Blood donations remain critically important, with someone in the United States needing blood every two seconds.
