From rescue to release: Learning about local wildlife with KARE

Meet the incredible animals under the care of Kane Area Rehabilitation and Education for Wildlife (KARE) on Wednesday, May 6, at the St. Charles Public Library.

Ambassadors from KARE will introduce us to some of their fascinating small mammal friends and share engaging stories about their journeys. Learn about the vital rehabilitation work that helps injured and orphaned wildlife heal, grow, and ultimately return to their natural habitats.

It will be at 10 a.m. in the Huntley Community Room of the library, 1 S. Sixth Ave. To register, visit scpld.org or call (630) 584-0076.
