Man gets 48 years for sexually assaulting child

A Waukegan man was sentenced to 48 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child in Aurora.
Kane County Judge Bianca Camargo sentenced Glenn Wilson, 60, of the 2600 block of Iroquois Road, on Wednesday.
A jury convicted him Jan. 28 of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and criminal sexual assault.
Prosecutors said Wilson lived with the victim and her family from 2006 to 2009.
Wilson must serve at least 85% of the sentence before he is eligible for parole. He received credit for the 86 days he spent in the Kane County jail. He will also have to register for life as a sex offender.
