The disaster ahead

Chris Krebs, one of the highest cybersecurity and security experts in this country, and possibly the world, told the truth about the election and said, “There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.”

I have worked as a computer tech for 25 years, and most of my friends and acquaintances are techs. All believe the same thing. President Trump has no training or understanding of cybersecurity. I would add that anyone I know, myself included, says Krebs told the truth.

Back to the future - if you make a statement with no factual evidence enough times, those like Trump who have no understanding of the topic will follow like fleas after the dog.

Sixteen Nobel Prize-winning economists had signed a public letter in advance of the election presidential debate endorsing President Biden’s economic policies and criticizing Donald Trump’s, including statements like, “During Joe Biden’s presidency we have also seen a remarkably strong and equitable labor market recovery ” and “We believe that a second Trump term would have a negative impact on the U.S.’s economic standing in the world and a destabilizing effect on the U.S.’s domestic economy.”.

And here we are.

Under Biden, we came out of the pandemic with a better economy than any other country in the world. Letter writer Lass talks about “socialism” as if it is evil. But he misses the point that we give more money to red states, and under Republican-controlled government, we always move money to the greedy wealthy, while 14 million children go hungry.

When Republicans are in control we always have an economic disaster. We are headed for a big one.
