Safety issue ongoing in Schaumburg

I am a homeowner in Schaumburg reaching out regarding an ongoing public health and safety issue affecting our neighborhood.

Multiple homes on our street have experienced repeated sewage water backups. Despite ongoing communication with the Village of Schaumburg, the issue has not been resolved and continues to be deferred.

We have documented:

• Repeated sewage backups impacting multiple homes

• Email correspondence from the village acknowledging the broader issue

• Significant out-of-pocket costs for repairs and damages

This is not an isolated incident but a neighborhood-wide infrastructure problem that has persisted without resolution.
