Praying for a less divided future

It is always comforting to read an opinion that supports your own and Betty Baum’s recent op-ed is as cogent as it is comprehensive. I too at age 77 can remember a time when both parties at least compromised for a common ground, unfortunately those days are in our past while the present is consumed with animus and vitriol towards one another in each party. For Betty's piece of mind and for the sake of our country, we can only pray that our future will bring a resolution to our differences.
