Bensenville teen shot to death in Stone Park

An 18-year-old Bensenville man was shot to death in Stone Park, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Stone Park police did not respond to requests for information about the shooting.
According to the medical examiner, Daniel Mendez, of the 900 block of David Drive in Bensenville, was found dead just before 10 p.m. Sunday near the intersection North and 32nd avenues in Stone Park.
An autopsy performed Monday indicated Mendez died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.
