Recycle unwanted electronics in Park Ridge on April 18

People who live in and around Park Ridge can safely dispose of unwanted electronics Saturday, April 18, at Maine Township Hall.

An electronics recycling event hosted by township officials and state Sen. Laura Murphy will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the hall, 1700 Ballard Road, Park Ridge. The collection will stop early if the truck that will haul away the items fills up sooner.

Only township residents can participate. ID is required.

People can drop off up to five items per household and only one TV per car. No commercial items will be accepted.
