Lakes Region Historical Society’s Schoolhouse Museum now open

The Schoolhouse Museum, operated by the Lakes Region Historical Society, is now open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday through November.

There is no admission fee for the museum at 817 Main St. in Antioch.

Founded in 1973, the society is dedicated to preserving the history of Antioch and the Chain O’ Lakes area. The archive resource center is available by appointment for researching genealogy, home histories or other historical projects.
