Buffalo Grove police collecting art supplies to support child advocacy center
The Buffalo Grove Police Department is collecting coloring books and art supplies this month to support the Blue Kids Program of the Lake County Children's Advocacy Center.
Accepted items including coloring books, journals, drawing pads, colored pencils, markers, crayons and craft kits. Items can also be purchased from the advocacy center’s Amazon wish list.
Items must be new or unused, and can be dropped off 24 hours a day in the collection box in the lobby of the police station, 46 Raupp Blvd.
The Blue Kids prevention program is an initiative designed to promote education, raise awareness and provide valuable resources to the community.
