Frustrating delays

For about a year now, the residents in the Hanover Park Tempo and Tanglewood subdivisions have had only one way in and out. The company that won the bid to rebuild the Arlington Drive bridge at Greenbrook has had one delay after another.

Original date was summer 2025, then delayed to Nov 2025 on and on.

Yet when driving past the site on any given nice day you will typically see no one working. Best case a few workers one day then none again for long periods of time. As of Spring 2026, there is no end in sight.

Whatever company won that bid should never be allowed to do a bridge contract again in Illinois.
