Basic Bread and Beyond

Join Father Dominic Garramone, O.S.B — “The Bread Monk” — for an interactive baking presentation on Saturday, April 11, at Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake.

Father Dom will demonstrate how to mix and knead a basic dough, then show beginner-friendly techniques to shape beautiful braids and rolls that will make you look like an experienced baker.

It will begin with a soup luncheon from noon to 1 p.m., followed by the presentation from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the church, 5N500 Hanson Road, just east of Route 47 in St. Charles. There will be door prizes.
