Hunt for eggs at Lake Park in Des Plaines on April 3

The Des Plaines Park District will host a family egg hunt on Friday, April 3.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon at Lake Park, 2175 Lee St.

In addition to traditional hunts for prize-filled eggs, the Easter Bunny will be available for free photos. Participants should bring their own baskets or bags. Admission is $2. All children must be accompanied by adults.

Registration at desplainesparks.org is required. A schedule of the age-divided egg hunts is available there, too.
