Crunch Fitness coming this fall to Fox River Commons in Naperville

Crunch Fitness franchise owner JEM Wellness Brands will open its first suburban location in the Fox River Commons in Naperville this fall.

The nearly 33,000-square-foot health and fitness club is expected to open in the former Bed Bath & Beyond space. It’s the 15th location nationwide for JEM Wellness Brands and the second Crunch Fitness in the greater Chicago market, according to a news release.

JEM Wellness Brands signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation for the space in the 241,524-square-foot shopping center at 704 Route 59.

“Fox River Commons continues to gain momentum as we introduce uses that drive consistent visits and enhance the customer experience,” said Kristina O’Keefe, vice president of the commercial division at CRC.

“Crunch Fitness will activate a prominent anchor space and add a wellness offering that aligns with the center’s evolving lineup. Along with recent additions including The Picklr, ReStore, and Activate Games, this lease reflects our continued progress in strengthening the center with destination-oriented tenants.”

Crunch Naperville will offer a variety of amenities, including miles of cardio, an extensive selection of strength equipment, premium group fitness classes, a HIITZone training area, personal training, a Hot Studio, and dedicated recovery spaces, with amenities such as Hydromassage and sauna options. The new club will offer residents a premium fitness experience with top-tier equipment, innovative group fitness classes, and a welcoming philosophy.

The business is expected to create roughly 50 jobs.
