Gurnee shredding event set for April 11

Gurnee is hosting a free shredding event for residents from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 11, at village hall, 325 N. O’Plaine Road.

Documents from businesses or commercial institutions will not be accepted. All materials will be recycled and diverted from landfills.

Individuals with disabilities that need assistance with unloading recyclable materials should contact Assistant to Village Administrator Austin Pollack at (847) 599-7500 to allow the village to arrange reasonable accommodations
