Historic benefit

The echoes of human existence have begun to ring louder than at any moment in recent memory. As a 31-year-old American Jew, I have never been prouder of my nation than I am today. Nor have I ever been as proud of an American president in my entire lifetime.

For the final eradication of the Ayatollah and the dismemberment of the Near East's most terminal cancers, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and the twisted manifestation of Islam that they inflict upon the storied and dignified Persian people, the entire Western world and the aspirational citizens of Iran's occupied lands owe President Donald Trump a tremendous debt of gratitude.

As someone who works in international trade, we must acknowledge that there may be temporary economic hardships or disruptions. And as a Jew, we must recognize that the swarms of anti-Semites and the pernicious demagogues who lead them will be louder than ever when they come to find that the tunnels of terror they have grown accustomed to have been emptied out.

For every American soldier who has lost their life at the hands of the maniacal Ayatollah, to every innocent life vanquished only to satisfy the Iranian government's delusional ends, to every victim of the Holocaust whose entire story and annihilation was denied by the Ayatollah and his terrorist apparatus who only wished to perpetrate these crimes against humanity again, and to every soul yet to be born who will learn of this bitter half century robbed from the Iranian people only in history books. We forge ahead in all their honor. Today, I am grateful that we have President Trump, a man who hears the call of history, and possesses the intestinal fortitude to act and make it right.
