Naperville Garden Club offers scholarships for horticultural, environmental studies
The Naperville Garden Club is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program supporting students pursuing studies in horticulture, conservation, and environmental sciences.
The scholarship program provides financial assistance to graduating high school seniors and college students in the Naperville area who are committed to careers that support environmental stewardship and the natural world.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, and preference is given to students residing within Naperville Unit District 203 or Indian Prairie Unit District 204. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, career commitment, extracurricular involvement, and financial need.
Scholarships may be renewable on a yearly basis, provided recipients reapply and continue to meet the standards of the scholarship program.
The total scholarship funds awarded each year are determined in April and are made possible through the success of the Naperville Garden Club’s signature fundraiser, the Cup of Cheer™ House Walk, Holiday Market and Tea, held annually on the first Thursday and Friday of December.
Completed applications and all supporting materials must be submitted no later than April 1 to the scholarship chairperson. Applicants will be notified of award decisions by email by May 1.
