Barrington teen identified as driver killed in crash Monday in Deer Park

A 17-year-old Barrington boy has been identified by Lake County authorities as the driver killed Monday morning in Deer Park.

The coroner’s office said Maximillan Sahinoglu died of blunt force injuries suffered in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said Sahinoglu was speeding north on Ela Road north of Long Grove road at about 10 a.m. when he lost control, drove off the road and struck a tree.
