Arlington Heights hosting open house on downtown promenade plan

Arlington Heights officials will host an informational open house about the proposed Vail Avenue Promenade Project from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 12.

The event will take place in the village board room at village hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.

Residents are invited to stop by to review plans, learn about the project, and ask questions.

The proposed project would transform a portion of Vail Avenue and Campbell Street in the village’s downtown into a curbless, pedestrian-priority street. The goal is to better connect Harmony Park with surrounding shops, restaurants, and nearby neighborhoods.
