Personal attacks harm campaigns

I find it annoying that some of the candidates in the upcoming primary election have been using negative ads, which amount to my feeling disturbed by the repeated vexations. I believe that a candidate who feels that evaluation of facts being turned into an argument of personal attack, is a mark of a desperation. Candidates should campaign on their own merits and not work to deplete those of who they oppose. A candidate who works hard, is persistent and resilient, should get the recognition of their efforts.

I would say to candidates to tell me why you are the better (or best) choice based upon your skill, experience and maturity and not your way of needing to derogate others to reach your goal.
