Congressman not responsive

I see the Daily Herald is endorsing Mike Quigley for the 5th Congressional District even though he has said he wants to run for Chicago mayor. Translation: he is not interested in representing all his constituents, only those in Chicago.

Whoever made this endorsement must not live in Quigley's district or has not ever reached out to him. I do and I have. When asked what he is doing to push back on Trump's closure of USAID and cuts to scientific research, the response, via a form letter, said Quigley “wrote a letter to the editor.”

Seriously? Anyone can write a letter to the editor, even me. When asked via email and phone calls what he is doing about the killings at sea of alleged narco terrorists, I received a form letter about Social Security.

Seriously? Quigley is seriously not interested in representing me and he will not get my vote.
