Naperville house fire displaces six people
Nobody was injured in a fire Saturday at a house in Naperville.
The home, in the 1100 block of Burke Court, sustained roughly $800,000 in damage, according to a news release from the Naperville Fire Department.
A resident called around 11:04 p.m. to report that a vehicle in their garage was on fire.
Firefighters encountered “significant” heat and smoke throughout the house. The fire was under control by 12:37 a.m.
The structure was declared uninhabitable.
Six residents were displaced.
