Q&A

What is your top issue and how do you propose to address it?

The most important issue facing Illinois' 8th Congressional District is affordability — a crushing crisis forcing families, young adults, and seniors to make sacrifices just to get by.

In Illinois, Gov. JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson push higher taxes every year, draining more money from hardworking people's pockets and forcing impossible choices on essentials like housing, groceries, and health care. This must end.

In Congress I will work to make life affordable and grow our middle class. I'll champion legislation to cut federal taxes on working families, reduce burdensome regulations that stifle small businesses and entrepreneurs, and prioritize policies that lower the cost of living — putting more money back in your pocket so you can thrive, not just survive.

We need common-sense solutions that support families, empower entrepreneurs, and restore the American Dream.

Do you support the unilateral foreign policy course President Trump has taken with such actions as the bombing of Iran, assaults on Venezuelan ships and the seizure of the Venezuelan president?

I support President Trump's America First foreign policy, which puts American interests first and saves the world from aggressive dictators who suppress freedom and democracy. These actions against Iran and Venezuela protected American interests, deterred adversaries, promoted global stability without endless wars, and shielded their people from dictators.

The executive branch has expanded its powers in recent years on foreign policy, economic tariffs, executive orders and more. Are you satisfied with the direction these activities are moving? If so, why? If not, what needs to be done differently?

As a political outsider, tech entrepreneur, and mother of 10 I am always going to protect American security and prosperity — the most important issues our leaders in Congress must address.

Right now, we are witnessing Congress working effectively with the President to secure our border, put American businesses and interests first, bring America back as a dominant force that no country can take advantage of, and deliver peace through strength.

They are working to cut bureaucracy, secure fair trade deals, and protects working families. Congress must continue strong oversight to ensure every action stays within constitutional limits and directly benefits the American people.

What should U.S. border policy be? If elected, what would you do to make it happen?

Our border must be secure. Illegal immigration has crippled major cities across America, overwhelming schools, hospitals, shelters, and law enforcement while draining taxpayer resources and driving up crime in communities that can least afford it.

As a political outsider, tech entrepreneur, and mother of 10, I know we need to bring common sense back to these issues: enforce existing laws, deploy advanced technology and physical barriers, deport criminal illegals, and end catch-and-release to restore remain in Mexico.

I'll work in Congress to fund border security, prioritize legal immigration for skilled workers who strengthen our economy, and protect Illinois families and taxpayers from the real costs of open borders.

Also, we need true and real immigration reform. Kicking the can down the road has gotten us to where we are now and this must end.

What should be the government’s role in assuring health care for Americans? What should be done regarding the ACA to better perform this function?

Government should promote market-based solutions, not mandates. Repeal and replace the ACA with reforms that truly lower costs through competition, protect preexisting conditions, and expand HSAs.

Focus on transparency, choice, and reducing regulations to make care affordable for all. As a political outsider, business owner and mother of 10, I understand firsthand the crushing cost of health care and what it does to families and businesses — I will work for real solutions that put people first.

What is your vision for a solution to conflicts involving Israel and the Palestinians? What should the United States be doing to advance this position?

My vision is clear: lasting peace in the Middle East through strength, security, and zero tolerance for terrorism. The United States will never and should never accept terrorism in any form, and we must act decisively to eliminate it.

Israel is our longest-standing and most reliable democratic ally in the region — its security is essential to America's safety and values. Congress must provide unbreakable support through:

• Robust, sustained funding for the Iron Dome and other critical defense systems

• Tough sanctions on Iran and its terror proxies, including Hamas and Hezbollah

• Relentless diplomatic and economic pressure to isolate threats and deter aggression

A two-state solution is possible, but only under strict conditions:security guarantees for Israel, demilitarization of Palestinian areas, no role for Hamas or any terrorist group, and recognition of Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state.

I've seen firsthand how strong alliances drive innovation, stability, and success — just as I built my tech company through partnerships and resolve. In Washington, I work every day to ensure Israel never stands alone, because a strong Israel means a safer America.
