Encore concert to benefit Bridge Communities

The 2026 Encore Benefit Concert for Bridge Communities will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at the First United Methodist Church of Downers Grove, 1032 Maple Ave.

This year’s concert will feature favorite performers from past Encore concerts, as well as new musicians, in what promises to be an inspiring afternoon of music.

The Encore Concert is a fundraiser benefiting the church’s Bridge Board, a program partner with Bridge Communities. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit supports DuPage County families transitioning from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

Through a two-year mentoring program, Bridge Communities provides housing, guidance, and hope to help families working to build their independence.

The Bridge Board sponsors two families, which costs approximately $15,000 annually per family.
