Schaumburg Township to hold property tax exemptions & appeals workshop March 5

Join the Schaumburg Township assessor’s office and Disability & Senior Services to learn about property tax exemptions and appeals at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at the township hall, 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.

You’ll get information on exemptions — including homeowner, senior, senior freeze, disabled persons and disabled veteran exemptions — as well as appeals, both through the Cook County Assessor’s Office and Cook County Board of Review.

Following the informational meeting, there will be a question-and-answer session. Handouts will be available in English, Polish and Spanish. Please call (847) 285-4570 with any questions.
