One killed in early morning RV fire in Des Plaines
One person was found dead after a recreational vehicle fire Sunday morning in Des Plaines, authorities said.
Des Plaines police said officers and firefighters responded to the fire on the 2600 block of Scott Street at 6:45 a.m.
Firefighters put out the fire and found the body inside the vehicle.
The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin and further investigation, police said.
The Des Plaines Fire Department, the state fire marshal and Des Plaines police are working to find the cause of the fire.
