Batavia schools name new director of operations and facilities

Batavia Unit District 101 school board members have appointed Jon Mickle as the district’s next director of operations and facilities, effective July 1.

Mickle currently serves as the director of facilities at Community Unit District 300 in Algonquin, where he oversees operations across 30 buildings.

Mickle replaces Mark Anderson, who is taking over as athletic director at Batavia High School at the end of this school year.
