Chamber Music on the Fox hosts ‘Heartstrings: A Musical Valentine’
The Chamber Music on the Fox series continues on Feb. 22-23 with “Heartstrings: A Musical Valentine,” performing romantic favorites from Robert and Clara Schumann, W.A. Mozart, and others.
The first concert will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at New England Congregational Church, 406 W Galena Blvd. in Aurora. It will be followed by a concert at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at First Congregational Church of Dundee, 900 S. Eighth St. in West Dundee.
Guest-curated by violinist Eleanor Bartsch, this intimate concert is the perfect way to celebrate your valentine!
With a string quartet program centered around love, romance, and the deep emotions evoked by beloved string music, Heartstrings is an opportunity to connect through the power of music and create lasting memories with your loved ones.
The concert will feature violinists Eleanor Bartsch and Sang Mee Lee, violist Arturo Ziraldo, and cellist Marina Hoover.

For the 2025-26 season, Chamber Music on the Fox explores “Snapshots in Sound,” musical moments that help define our lives and bring us together.
The series continues in April with “Sounds of the Earth: Music and Nature in Harmony” featuring Chicago Harp Quartet on April 19 at New England Congregational Church in Aurora, and April 20 at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church in St. Charles.
It will be followed in June by “Resonant Voices: Celebrating Community Through Sound,” guest-curated by Eric Pidluski, on June 14 at New England Congregational Church in Aurora and June 15 at First Congregational Church of Dundee in West Dundee.
