Equine Valentine

Horses big and small, a “kissing booth” and hobby horses for kids were part of the fun Saturday during the SOUL Kisses 4 Valentine’s Day event at SOUL Harbor Ranch in Barrington.

Claire Johnson, a volunteer and advisory committee member, said the fundraising event was an opportunity to open up the barn to the public and give people a chance to meet their horses.

An event highlight was the opportunity for visitors to have their photo taken while giving smooches to a miniature horse named “Charmer” at a kissing booth. Kids also rode hobby horses equestrian style through the barn.

“It's just something for us to pass around some love,” Johnson said.
