Three stabbed in two weekend incidents in Aurora
Three people were stabbed in two separate incidents over the weekend in Aurora.
On Saturday, Feb. 7, Aurora police responded to a residence on the 500 block of Glenview Avenue to find an adult male with stab wounds. He was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.
Police said in a news release that the stabbing resulted from a “sudden altercation between two acquaintances inside the home.”
Jose Antonio Perez-Leon, 25, of Aurora, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
On Sunday, Feb. 8, Aurora police were called to the 800 block of Hammond Avenue for a reported stabbing at a residence. Officers found two adults with stab-related injuries, and both were taken to area hospitals.
Authorities say the incident stemmed from a domestic-related situation involving a behavioral health crisis inside the home.
Dayton Paul Craig, 23, of Aurora, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder as well as multiple counts of aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery.
