District 214 Community Education’s The Theater Lab announces cast of ‘Romeo and Juliet’
The Theater Lab has announced the cast for the opening show of its 10th anniversary season, “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare. The production will be a limited four-performance run, Feb. 6, 7, 14, and 15, at the Forest View Educational Center Theater in Arlington Heights.
“Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare is the timeless tale of two young lovers from feuding families who defy all odds to pursue their forbidden romance. As passion and fate intertwine, their journey is fraught with danger, secret rendezvous and heart-wrenching tragedy. “Romeo and Juliet” explores the depths of love, loyalty and the consequences of a divided community.

The creative team includes John Meyers (artistic and production director), Patrick Zielinski (coordinating producer), Chris Good (production and stage manager), Teresa J. Arnold (properties managers), Lexi DeWitt (fight and intimacy choreographer), Karin Hansen and Maura Cook (costume designers), Michael Incardone (sound designer) and Sue Lindell (photographer).
Performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6; and 3 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 7 and 14, and Sunday, Feb. 15, and will take place at the Forest View Educational Center Theater, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights.

When purchased in advance, general admission tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $16 for students. Purchased at the door, general admission tickets are $24 for adults, $22 for seniors, and $18 for students.
