Authorities investigating death of person found Friday behind Bartlett business

A death investigation is underway involving a body found Friday behind a business in Bartlett.

According an NBC 5 Chicago report, police were called to the 5500 block of County Farm Road near Stearns Road for an unresponsive person and found that person was deceased.

Details were not released and neither Bartlett police nor the DuPage County Coroner’s Office could be reached Saturday.

According to a Bartlett police Facebook post about 8:30 a.m. Friday, Stearns Road was closed between County Farm Road and Newport Boulevard due to police activity. The road reopened at 12:05 p.m.

Police and the DuPage County Metropolitan Emergency Response and Investigative Team and the DuPage County Coroner's Office were investigating, according to NBC 5.
