Naperville Park District to host new event ‘Glow in the Snow’

Community invited to a wintery walk through Central Park

The Naperville Park District invites the community to the new winter event, “Glow in the Snow,” on Saturday, Feb. 21.

The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Central Park, 104 E. Benton Ave. During this free event, attendees can walk along a beautifully lit trail of festive lights and winter charm.

Throughout the park, visitors can participate in winter-themed activities such as a scavenger hunt, visit various photo ops throughout the park, and warm up with hot cocoa.

Additionally, the Naperville Astronomical Association will be on-site with telescopes to show the moon and Jupiter to attendees, weather permitting. The event will be held with or without snow on the ground.

Sponsors for Glow in the Snow include NEXT Door and Windows, Oswald’s Pharmacy, Precision Today and Kiddie Academy. For additional details, visit www.napervilleparks.org/glowinthesnow or naperastro.org.
