An inaccurate view of Venezuelan oil
The editorial cartoon portraying the president as stealing oil from Venezuela is misleading, moreover a lie.
In everything I've heard and read, the plan is for the U.S. to market Venezuelan crude on the open market and share the proceeds. Can you tell me what the split will be? That would be fair and honest reporting.
Is there anything to report on how much U.S. aid will be coming from Washington to Caracas? It would be fair to regain some of that aid via shared revenues from Venezuelan oil. Is there anything in your paper about which companies are looking to rebuild the infrastructure?
Please be more even-handed about the cartoons you post.
