A stark display of how divided we are

The Opinion page on Wednesday, Jan. 14, had quite the juxtaposition of views.

On the left was a reader who couldn't be more pleased with the Trump administration and is eager for more. Then, to the right, an editorial cartoon of ICE as Death. Below that, columnist Jeff Robbins writing of ICE's killing of American citizen Renee Nicole Good.

I cannot express enough how bizarre it is to me that there are many proud Americans who view the Trump administration's assaults on the Constitution as positives. Just this one intersecting corner of the Opinion page shows just how divided we are as a nation.
