Two Maine West Students Awarded Full Scholarships to College through QuestBridge
QuestBridge, a national nonprofit organization that connects high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds with transformative educational, career and life opportunities, recently announced the results of the 2025 QuestBridge National College Match. This college match connects high school seniors with full four-year scholarships to the nation’s top colleges.
QuestBridge’s 55 college partners matched with 2,550 student finalists this year who are recognized as Match Scholarship Recipients. Among the finalists who were awarded college scholarships were Maine West 12th graders Yulianna Humeniak and Kristina (Vi) Nguyen. Humeniak will be attending Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and Nguyen will attend the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Each will attend school with full four-year scholarships.
“This year’s Match Scholarship Recipients embody excellence in so many ways and we’re excited to support them as they continue to dream big,” said Ana Rowena Mallari, Co-Founder and CEO of QuestBridge. “Since QuestBridge’s founding over 30 years ago, we’ve witnessed the incredible impact our Scholars can make in their lives, families, and communities, and we know that this year’s students will make a positive impact, too.”
Each Match Scholarship Recipient receives early admission and a full four-year scholarship to a QuestBridge college partner, ensuring for these students and their families that an education at a top college is affordable. The Match Scholarship, provided by the college or university, is made up of a generous financial aid package that covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing and food, books and supplies and travel expenses.

They deserve every great opportunity that comes their way and we’re grateful to QuestBridge for making these colleges accessible to them.”
The QuestBridge National College Match has successfully connected over 19,000 students with full scholarships at some of the nation’s best colleges. Through programming and partnerships with top colleges, graduate schools, and leading companies, QuestBridge helps its Scholars realize their full potential at every stage of life.
