Bears have turned a corner
Mr. Jim Newton of Itasca is cautioning us about being too enthusiastic about the success of the Bears this year, To instead, wait until they establish several years of winning teams.
Well, first of all, let’s be very clear about one thing. A city being excited about the success of their football team is not something that just happens in Chicago. This happens to basically every franchise in the United States and every sport for that matter. Of course we’re going to be excited about how our team is doing especially since they have not been doing well for some time. It’s only natural to feel enthusiasm.
He also says that only one win over Green Bay in the last six years is no reason to get too excited. Nope, I had breakfast
Well, I would say do the math. They’ve actually had two wins in the last two years against the Packers and each of those games, including two wins by the Packers have all been very close.
He certainly is entitled to his opinion. My opinion is that the Bears have turned the corner with this new coach and new general manager, and they’re making moves to make this team much better and it shows.
