Guns, drugs recovered from Aurora man’s house during search

Illinois State Police troopers recovered multiple firearms and a cache of drugs after executing a search warrant at an Aurora man’s house Monday.

Xavier Galvan, 25, is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver after multijurisdictional investigation that began in November 2025.

During the search at Galvan’s home on the 1100 block of Brockton Court, state police officials said 60 grams of cocaine were recovered along with multiple firearms, including two that were reported stolen.

Galvan is being held at the DuPage County jail. Additional charges related to the weapons recovered are pending, authorities said.
