Nominations now open for Supervisor’s Community Service Awards
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 Annual Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire Community Service Awards. The awards are designed to recognize organizations and individuals who volunteer their time to make Hanover Township an outstanding place to live, work and raise a family.
Awards are selected by a group of dedicated volunteers from the community, comprising Chairperson Marv Kramer, Lori Ann Airdo, Adam Kanyuh, Kerrie Trebonsky and Mary Wojtczak.
Individuals and organizations can be nominated in any of the follow categories:
• Adult Volunteer Service Award (18 years or older)
• Youth Volunteer Service Award (under 18)
• Senior Volunteer Service Award (55 years or older)
• Business Community Service Award
• Service Club/Organization Service Award
Award applications are available at the Hanover Township Town Hall at 250 S. IL Route 59 in Bartlett, or online at hanover-township.org. Nominations are due no later than Feb. 27. Nominees and award winners will be recognized at a ceremony in the spring.
Candidates will be judged on their leadership, commitment, and impact in the community.
