Coffee talk: Lombard launches new event with village president

Lombard is brewing up “Coffee with the Village President,” a new public engagement event series.

The sessions will offer an informal setting for residents to chat with Village President Anthony Puccio about projects, initiatives and other topics.

The first meeting is set for 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at village hall, 255 E. Wilson Ave. Residents are invited to stop by at any time, ask questions, give feedback and discuss ideas.

“I appreciate the opportunity to hear directly from residents,” Puccio said in a statement. “These conversations help us stay connected and better understand what matters to the community.”

Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. Future events will be held at various sites in town and include village trustees.
