No injuries, but residents displaced in Aurora fire on Christmas Day

No one was injured, but residents were displaced following a Christmas Day fire in Aurora.

According to a news release from the Aurora Fire Department, firefighters responded to the 1900 block of Sedgegrass Trail around noon Thursday to find heavy fire along the side of a two-story single-family home, with smoke pushing from the roof eaves. It took firefighters roughly 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

The home was declared uninhabitable. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
