Kane County Health Department, staffer honored

The Kane County Health Department was named Organization of the Year, and KCHD substance use prevention specialist Sharon Cabrera was honored with the Community Leader Award by the Kane County Recovery-Oriented System of Care at the annual DuPage and Kane County ROSC Awards.

The awards recognize outstanding organizations and individuals dedicated to addressing substance use and mental health challenges across the region.

Other award recipients included Scott Kaufmann, Community Initiatives Coordinator at the DuPage Health Department, 360 Youth Services and Mark Mathews of Greater Family Health.
